About Us

Welcome to the Quality Counts Career Center for Early Care and Education in Miami-Dade County. Funded by The Children's Trust, the Career Center is designed to serve as a valuable resource for child care practitioners. The Quality Counts Career Center takes the guess work out of what practitioners need to do next to increase their knowledge, skills, and qualifications for teaching in early care and education settings or working in other capacities in the field. Career advisors are available to help practitioners develop a career plan and begin taking the next step to achieving their goals.

The Quality Counts Career Center is operated by the Children's Forum, Inc., who also operates the T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood^® Scholarship and the Child Care WAGE$^® salary supplement program in Miami-Dade and statewide. The Children's Forum, Inc. is experienced in helping child care practitioners achieve their goals through its various programs and projects. Coupled with the commitment from The Children's Trust and the many collaborative partners in Miami-Dade County who have brought this dream to fruition, we are confident that we have a partnership for success.
