Developing Child-Centric Learning Centers
This training is brought to you by The Children's Trust, The Early Learning Coalition of Miami-Dade Monroe, and United Way Center For Excellence in Early Education.

During this two day session, participants will develop child-directed activities that stimulate physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development. Participants will investigate strategies for developing creative and stimulating centers that invite exploration and investigation using a rich variety of materials and include appropriate challenges and opportunities to stimulate imagination. Participants will learn to structure centers that promote sustained play, positive social interaction, language development while providing meaningful opportunities for choice. Center development during the session will include the areas of language literacy, English acquisition, mathematics, science, social studies, art, music, physical education and health.
This class will offer 1.2 CEU credits upon completion of both days.
